Educational Support Grant

2024 Educational Support Grants

Three Educational Support Grants were submitted to the Educational Support Grant Committee.  The first grant was submitted by Britteny Daisley, a STEM teacher from Northern Cambria.  A 3D printer was requested for use in her classes.  This proposal was submitted for funding from Region 6.

Two other proposals were submitted to our chapter.  It was decided that both proposals were good enough to be funded by our chapter.  One was from Forest Hills School District for a Transition Skills Program.  This proposal was submitted by Katlyn Kmetz.  The second proposal was submitted by Matthew Miller from Nothern Cambria.  The funds will be used by the Technology Student Association to fund materials needed for the state and national competitions.

2023 Educational Support Grants

This year our Chapter was honored to provide two $250 Educational Support Grants.  These grants provides the teachers with money to fund special projects in their respective school districts in our region.

One award was presented to Matthew Miller of Northern Cambria School District.  The grant was used to partially fund the Technology Student Association materials need to compete in the state and national competitions.

The second award was presented to a Portage Area School District teacher.  Emily Novosedliak will use the grant to partially fund a community garden by her fifth and sixth grade math students.
