WELCOME
Welcome to the Lancaster Chapter of Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees! Or for a shorter name, LCSR.
Our organization includes a membership of retired Public School employees from around the state. The people included here served in every capacity within the different school districts that included any teaching staff, support staff, administration, counseling, information technology leaders, transportation folks, food services, … basically everyone who worked to help our PA children to be successful in the Public School settings.
Our chapter is focused on assisting Lancaster County’s school districts with volunteerism. Helping our communities in all forms of volunteerism, fund raising for scholarships for graduating seniors planning to enter the field of education, fund raising for grants for school employees with special projects in mind and serving the members of our local organization with luncheons, fun gatherings, Trivia events, picnics, educational programs and workshops for our senior population and keeping in touch with our homebound members who are no longer able to attend our gatherings but who still want (and need) to be kept in the loop. We work hard to recruit new members into LCSR to help us with our mission. This particular chapter is over 60 years old and still working for the most success for all!
