COMMUNITY SERVICE
Encourages members to volunteer in their communities on a individual basis, and organizes chapter sponsored community service projects. For many years we have been involved with Special Olympics. The committee surveys the chapter membership each year to determine individual hours and types of volunteer service provided and selects an Outstanding Community Service Volunteer for recognition by the chapter.

EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT
Each year we recognize a professional and a support member of our county's school districts by presenting the Lauretta Woodson Award. The award is presented at a school district function of the recipient. On occasion we present teachers or schools with a grant through PASR to help them complete funding for student activities.

LEGISLATIVE
Provides the membership with information about the political candidates and the positions of interest to the members. It encourages members to become actively involved in supporting the candidates of their choice.

Recruits individuals to join and support the group and encourages members to renew their membership each year. They maintain membership records for the chapter and collect the dues.
