CCCPASR PURPOSE
The purpose of this organization is to develop a cooperative and unified program of social and educational activities among and for retired public school employees.
ARE THERE MEMBERSHIP CHOICES?
Yes! As a retired PA public school employee you are entitled to full membership. Have a partner or friend who would like to support our goals? They can also join as an associate member.
HOW MUCH IS MEMBERSHIP?
CCCPASR dues are only $20 a year for both full membership and associate membership. First year retiree? Congratulations! Membership is free for the first year of your retirement from a PA public school system. . A membership form is located under the forms tab.

HOW ARE MY MEMBERSHIP DUES BEING USED?

Two $1,500 scholarships are given to graduating seniors who are pursuing a degree in education at a Pennsylvania college.

Flowers and/or cards are sent to ill and shut-in members. Our chapter also makes a contribution to the state PASR Memorial Honor Fund in memory of our recently deceased members.

Three newsletters are sent out each year.

ARE THERE ACTIVITIES OFFERED THROUGH CCCPASR?
Yes!! Part of our purpose is to provide ways for you to connect socially with both former colleagues and new friends.
We hold two luncheon meetings per year. These cost $20 each for members for each luncheon. This cost covers the luncheon with a speaker and/or entertainment. Any additional costs above this price are covered by CCCPASR.
We also host several trips each year. We usually have at least one multi-day trip along with several one day trips. Some of our multi-day trips are overseas. These trips are offered to members first before being offered to our non-member friends who love to travel with us. These are not included as part of your membership fee.
We also have several committees with various responsibilities who are always looking for new faces! They are a nice way to meet new people in a smaller setting.

HOW IS CCCPASR DIFFERENT FROM PASR?

CCCPASR is a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR), a state association of members who are all retired employees of the public schools of Pennsylvania (including school support personnel, teachers and administrators.)

Membership for PASR is $60/year. A membership form is located under the forms tab. With this membership you also have additional benefits available to you including:

Discounts available at a variety of stores, restaurants, amusement parks, sporting events as well as other products and services

PASR is a politically neutral organization that advocates solely for retired state public school employees. Keep up to date on news and legislative actions.
