The Greene County Association of School Retirees (GCASR), is a local chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees [(PASR) with 300 local members that includes retired teachers, administrators, secretaries, aides, custodians, and cafeteria workers.

GCASR was recognized as the "2026 Friend of Education" at the West Greene School District Friends of Education dinner. Accepting this award are Lori Greene and Myleen McCollum.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarship Applications are available in the High School Guidance OfficesThe Greene County Association presents six [6] $1500 scholarships to graduating seniors who are furthering their education at an institution of higher learning. The scholarships are given to one graduating senior from each of the Greene County high schools plus the Greene County Career and Technology Center. Jane and David Schrock are the Educational Support Chairs.All Greene County High School Seniors are eligible to apply for the scholarships. Visit your High School Counselor for more information.
